Online counselling is a new way of delivering counselling via the Internet. It’s just like face-to-face counselling except you communicate with me via your computer.
This service is also known as e-counselling, distance counselling, internet counselling or web counselling. It can prove as effective as face-to-face counselling, and is a great alternative for many people.
Counselling sessions using Skype are convenient for people that have difficulty travelling to appointments either because of distance/remoteness, mobility problems, anxiety issues which prevent them leaving their home, people with childcare commitments or simply those with a busy work and travel schedule.

I offer a confidential, safe and non-judgemental service, where you can explore things that might be worrying you. I am able to offer you support for most problems. Specifically, this can be:
Often the problems are interlinked. It is through talking and exploring in a safe and supportive space that I will be able to understand your concerns, struggles and help you find your own solutions.
You will need a computer with a camera and audio capacity. A strong and reliable internet connection is essential. You need to create a Skype account and you will need an email address. You will need access to Internet banking for payments.
It is also essential that you have a private space where you will not be disturbed for the duration of each 50-minute online counselling session.
It is important that you feel comfortable with your counsellor. For this reason I offer a brief 10 minute telephone consultation prior to your first session free of charge. This way you can give me a brief overview of why you are seeking counselling and get a sense of how we might work together.
Call or email now to book your free 10-minute consultation.
